Royal Caribbean International continues to closely monitor the path and progress of Tropical Storm Noel to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm.
The safety of our guests and crew is always the foremost concern of Royal Caribbean International.
Given Tropical Storm Noel’s location and projected path, Royal Caribbean is currently providing itinerary updates regarding three ships:
Ships sailing from Port Canaveral
* Sovereign of the Seas will not make its scheduled port call in Nassau, Bahamas, Wednesday. Instead, the ship will visit Key West, Florida, Wednesday; will be at sea, Thursday; and return to Port Canaveral as scheduled, Friday.
Ships sailing from the Port of Miami
* Freedom of the Seas reversed the order of its ports of call, and will now visit George Town, Cayman Islands, Wednesday; and Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Thursday. The ship will not visit Labadee, Haiti, Friday, due to a berthing conflict. Instead, it will spend two days at sea, Friday and Saturday, before returning to the Port of Miami as scheduled, Sunday.
* Majesty of the Seas will not make its scheduled port call in Coco Cay, Bahamas, Wednesday. Instead, the ship will visit Cozumel, Mexico, Wednesday; will be at sea, Thursday; and return to the Port of Miami as scheduled, Friday.
At this time, no other Royal Caribbean International ships are being adversely impacted by tropical weather. Royal Caribbean will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and update this information at 12 p.m. Thursday.
