I was on Sovereign over the summer for the four night cruise, and all I can say is that I will be very sorry that the she will be transfered to Pullmantur. I have been on the Majesty, Monarch, Sovereign, and Voyager twice. The Sovereign is still a very beautiful ship and you would never know that the ship was built in 1988 way to go RCCL for keeping her so well maintained. I also had some of the best service on board, she has one of the BEST crews in the industry. When you go on the cruise make sure to go to the chef’s demonstration in the centrum, talk to Executive chef Nestor Guevara, if you ask he will take you on a private galley tour (something not to be missed) The Sovereign has to be one of the best trips for the money, everything was great and the crew still has the biggest smiles on the sea, even though they have two turn around days a week.

Thanks Mike for joining us, I loved Sovereign we went on her with our daughter on her first cruise and right after she had been refurbished (on TV) the ship not my daughter. She is a wonderful ship and it is a shame she has to move on, for awhile the left coasts loss will be our gain with Monarch, looking forward to spending a weekend on that ship too.
