This is a post from scubagirrl on the Cruise Critics, Nassau board.
“Lots of great food around town.
>Bahamian Kitchen is on Trinity, (read Downhome)
>Conch Fritters on Marlbourough (Commercial but good)
>Twin Brothers, Seafood Haven, Briland Lounge and Goldies at the nearby FISH FRY (about 1/3 mile west of downtown - 1 stop on the jitney)
>Cafe Skans on Bay Street (diner type)
>Lunch Ladies _ vendors around the wharf with cars and vans that serve the locals at lunchtime. ($10 for full plate $5 for local soups, mac and cheese side, plantains etc).
Bahamian food would be anything conch (cracked conch, chowder, conch salad -ceviche type, conch fritters ) or snapper, grouper, mahi mahi etc.
Served with peas and rice, cole slaw or plantains.
Curried Goat or Oxtail is also great, as well as smothered pork chops.
Soups are chicken souse, Ham w/dumplings, Oxtail and ocra, etc.
True bahamian food is downhome flavor.”
Sorry, I am late just got back from my cruise on Carnival.

I like two shows a week, even if the thurs show would be shorter to save some pressure on filling the normal time bracket.
Yes I’m behind in the podcasts, I just listened to 4 in a row at work tonight! LOL I was ROFLing at the “senior citizen lady” and her plastic nips…and Veronica, your comment about her sticking them in her elastic of her polyester pants! I was literally LOLing! hahahahaha
